AMBER SEXTON New York City 917-207-2375

This shot was pre planned out nearly exactly by the art director Allison Foltz.

We had done a lot of scouting at this location during the off season. We knew a lot about Shinnecock Hills, and the aspects of it that are iconic and known to golf fans.

The photo had to be shot close to press time because the grass had to be long enough. It was actually shot on Easter Sunday because the previous week had bad weather. And our original photographer could not work on Easter (he acted like an ass about the whole thing even though we warned him of this possibility)

This presented a problem because there would be no one on site to raise the clubs flag on the flagpole. I had to get a flag from a prop house at the last minute. It was so old it had only 48 stars
